On behalf of the Chinese Chemical Society, it is my great pleasure to extend our warm greetings to all participants of the 10^th Shanghai International Symposium on Analytical Chemistry, co-sponsored by the Chinese Chemical Society and Messe Munchen International, which will be held on November 18-19, 2024 in Shanghai, China.

Since the first conference in 2002, the Shanghai International Symposium on Analytical Chemistry has been held every two years, and has gone through 22 years of development, witnessing the brilliant achievements made by China and other countries in the research field of analytical chemistry, during which due to the Covid-19, this biennial series international conference could not be held as scheduled in 2020 and 2022. In the past 22 years, we have held nine academic conferences, where scholars, young students and researchers from all over the world have gathered together to carry out academic exchanges and knowledge integration, so as to generate more innovative research ideas and promote the common development of analytical chemistry.

With the theme of "Analytical Chemistry for a Better Life", the conference has nine topics, including "Imaging Analysis", "Sample Preparation", "Microfluidic Analysis", "Chromatography ", "Mass Spectrometry ", "Single Cell Analysis", "Food Analysis", "Environmental Analysis" and "New Developments in Analytical Chemistry". Four plenary lectures and 36 keynote speakers are invited from different countries. Nearly 100 abstracts of papers were received, covering the frontiers of analytical chemistry, and several papers were selected for oral presentations or poster exhibitions for the communication.

We warmly welcome colleagues and friends from both domestic and abroad to Shanghai to participate in this event. I sincerely wish you all a successful conference and a happy and healthy life in Shanghai!
