Green and Sustainable Chemistry Conference

The inaugural Green and Sustainable Chemistry Conference (http://www.greensuschemconf.com) takes place 3-6 April 2016 in Berlin and brings together expert keynote and invited speakers to review the very latest developments across a broad scope of green and sustainable chemistry.

The full programme is announced and features a high-level opening session including:

  • Paul Anastas, Director of the Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering and Professor in the Practice of Chemistry for the Environment Yale University, USA

  • Barbara Hendricks, Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, German Federal Government

  • Thisbe Lindhorst, President of the GDCh (German Chemical Society), Chair of Organic and Biological Chemistry, University of Kiel, Germany

  • Klaus Kümmerer, Conference Chair and Director, Institute of Sustainable and Environmental Chemistry, Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, Germany

Twenty keynote and invited presentations are supplemented by contributed oral presentations from researchers from academia and industry and a large poster session selected from more than 700 submitted abstracts.

Plus, the finalists from the Green and Sustainable Challenge will give short presentations prior to the winner being announced at the conference.
